Warmth, garden views, and the comforts of home — perfected.
The Holker Room draws its name from Holker Hall — one of England's most beloved country house gardens, renowned for its natural beauty and careful cultivation. In that same spirit, this room has been shaped by years of attentive hospitality: every element considered, nothing superfluous, and a quiet warmth that settles over you the moment you step inside.
A queen-sized bed sits beneath a high ceiling, dressed with layered linen in cream and warm sage — colours that echo the garden framed by the room's wide window. Hand-selected local art hangs on the walls, and polished timber surfaces carry the room's earthy palette through every detail. Come evening, a bedside lamp turns the room golden and the hum of the countryside takes over entirely.
The private en-suite shower room is compact but impeccably fitted: walk-in rain shower, quality stone-look tiling, premium toiletries, and a heated towel rail. Everything is freshly laundered and replaced each morning during your stay.
Breakfast is served in the main dining room each morning from 7:30 am. Expect something substantial — cooked eggs, local bacon or sausages, grilled tomatoes, toast from freshly baked bread, and freshly ground coffee or loose-leaf tea.
